I'm an A/V Engineer at Oak Street Health, part of CVS Health—based at headquarters where I support our brand new location outfitted with state-of-the-art WebEx equipment and communications technology. My day job sits at the intersection of IT infrastructure, user-facing technology, and mission-critical reliability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
But what sets me apart is what happens after hours. I've built and operate a full production home lab from the ground up—complete with private VLANs, segmented subnets, multiple physical servers, and live blockchain validator and relay nodes. I run a Cardano stake pool, develop open-source tools for immutable on-chain data, experiment with hybrid AI architectures, and automate my entire home with Home Assistant.
I don't just use technology—I build the infrastructure it runs on. That hands-on obsession has given me a depth of understanding across networking, systems administration, security, and modern development workflows that you simply don't get from certifications alone.
A career built on solving real problems across enterprise IT, audio-visual systems, and infrastructure at scale.
A broad, hands-on skill set developed across enterprise roles and personal infrastructure projects.
Not hypothetical work—these are live, production systems I maintain every day.
A Chicago-based single pool operator built on transparency and maximum delegator rewards. Full-stack infrastructure management from bare metal to block production.
An open standard and cross-platform viewer for publishing and reading permissionless, immutable data on the Cardano blockchain. No chain indexing. No gatekeepers. Local-first.
A production-grade web dashboard providing real-time visibility across my entire multi-machine infrastructure—from blockchain nodes to GPU workloads.
A fully self-built production environment that runs 24/7—because the best way to learn infrastructure is to operate it.
Private VLANs, segmented subnets, multiple physical servers, blockchain validators, AI acceleration hardware, and a fully automated smart home.
Private VLANs with segmented subnets isolating blockchain, AI, IoT, and management traffic. Full firewall rule sets and inter-VLAN routing.
Multiple physical and Proxmox-virtualized Ubuntu servers hosting Cardano nodes, Midnight validators, monitoring stacks, and dev environments. AI-assisted ops bot handles routine server maintenance.
Dedicated GPU workstation with NVIDIA RTX 3090 running CUDA-accelerated AI workloads, local Ollama models, and hybrid inference.
Raspberry Pi 5 with Hailo 10 NPU for low-power edge AI processing, camera analytics, and lightweight inference.
Cardano relay nodes, block producer, and Midnight testnet validator—all running production configs with automated monitoring.
Comprehensive smart home automation—sensors, lighting, climate, security, and custom automations all orchestrated through HA.
Building infrastructure that removes gatekeepers and gives individuals real control over their data and finances.
Exploring the frontier of artificial intelligence while maintaining sovereignty over the tools and models I rely on.
Building in public, sharing what I learn, and contributing to a commons that lifts everyone up.
Embracing AI-assisted development as a creative multiplier. Building faster, iterating boldly, and shipping real projects.
If it can be automated, it should be. From Home Assistant to infrastructure monitoring—I automate everything I can.
Everything I build is for a better future. Technology should empower families and communities, not just corporations.
Whether you're hiring, collaborating on open source, or just want to talk infrastructure and blockchain—I'd love to hear from you.
Available for local, hybrid, or remote roles.
Open to the right opportunity.
